Pre-school
This class project involved meeting with actual clients for a local
pre-school that was to be built in a few years. The requirements
focused on:
- shared resources in common areas, with natural lighting
- easily monitored (but somewhat private), child-scaled, work areas
- faculty and parent meeting space
This is a model I did of my design. The model clearly exhibits changes
in scale, central organization, open lighting, and a division of
class and administrative spaces. The form also suggests a panoramic view.
